……………………………………………………

On Monday, 5 August 2024, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development condemns the Israeli army’s targeting of two schools in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in many deaths and injuries.

It is worth mentioning that on Sunday, 4 August 2024, the Israeli occupation forces launched several raids targeting two schools in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 30 people while injuring more than 50 people. The Israeli army and the security service claimed responsibility for this strike, confirming that they targeted 3 people working inside Hamas command and control centers, which were “integrated” inside the schools.

For its part, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development denounces the continuation of blatant Israeli violations of Palestinian rights, especially the right to life and live in security and Peace, day after day in full view of the world’s countries, under the pretext of eliminating members of Hamas!

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights calls on the United Nations to send a commission of inquiry or independent investigators to investigate the ongoing targeting of schools by the Israeli occupation forces. Therefore, it should be submitted to the International Criminal Court as important proof of the Israeli occupation’s practice of genocide against Palestinians, particularly in the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights also calls on the international community, especially allied countries, to pressure the Israeli occupation forces for a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as to stop sending weapons to the occupation army.
