Today, Sunday, 11/8/2024, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development condemns the fierce Israeli raids that targeted the Al-Taba’een School, which shelters displaced people in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza, which is the 13th attack targeting centers for sheltering displaced people across the Gaza Strip since the beginning of this month.

On Saturday, 10 August 2024, Israeli warplanes attacked a prayer hall at the Al-Taba’een School, located in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza, while the displaced were performing the dawn prayer, with 3 devastating missiles, leaving more than 100 dead and 150 injured among the thousands of displaced people in the small school.

For its part, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development expresses its horror at the horrific total number of deaths from the Gaza Strip crisis, stressing that what happened in Al-Tabaeen School constitutes a war crime against the Palestinian people, which requires punishing the Israeli occupation.

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development calls on the International community to assume its responsibilities in order to end the Israeli war in Gaza, as it is the main reason for the current regional escalation.
