On World Day Against Child Labor Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development: Combating child labor is a collective responsibility

On World Day Against Child Labor, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development affirms that child labor is illegal and immoral, with devastating consequences for children, and must be combated by raising awareness.
It’s worth noting that World Day Against Child Labor, celebrated on 12 June, aims to galvanize the growing global movement against child labor and emphasize the link between social justice and child labor.
In this regard, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development stresses that it is an important occasion to raise awareness about this tragic phenomenon and demand the rights of children who are forced to work.
The Egyptian Coalition calls for action to provide protection and social justice for all, including children, to provide quality education, to get all children back in school, and to promote decent work for adults so that families do not have to employ their children to help improve family income.
